Ogun State former governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has exposed his successor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
According to Gbenga Daniel, Amosun who succeeded him in 2011 dragged him to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) despite being his friend.
The former Governor made the shocking revelation on Arise TV recently.
He said; “Amosun has long been my friend. He was one of the people who actually harassed me when I was out of government. Amosun took me to EFCC but God delivered me.”
“But, at a stage in your life, you sit down and begin to ask: what is it all about? I then came to the conclusion that there is no need for these wars.”
“I’ve resolved issues with everybody. There are no personal issues.”
For those who don’t know, Gbenga Daniel governed Ogun State for 8years, from 2003 to 2011. Senator Ibikunle Amosun succeeded him in 2011.
Besides, it is interesting to know that Otunba Gbenga Daniel, in the February 2023 national election was elected as Ogun-East Senator.
