Ex-NDDC Boss, Joy Nunieh’s Home Allegedly Surrounded By Police

Information reaching us right now has it that some policemen have allegedly stormed the home of the former Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Joy Nunieh ahead of her appearance before a House Committee.

According to media personality, Fisayo Soyomobo who tweeted via his Twitter page this morning, said; “Dozens of policemen are circling the House of Joy Nunieh, the former MD of NDDC, who is scheduled to testify before a House of Reps panel today as part of the ongoing probe of NDDC.”

“The policemen arrived at Nunieh’s residence at 3 Owuru Creek View, off Herbert Macaulay Street, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, at about 4am. Their presence means she cannot leave for the Port Harcourt International Airport where she should be connecting a flight to Abuja.”

For those who don’t know, Joy Nunieh is scheduled to testify before a House of Reps panel on Thursday, July 16, 2020 as part of the ongoing probe of NDDC.

Interestingly, Nunieh, appeared on Arise TV recently where she made shocking allegations against the Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio.

She said she slapped Akpabio because he tried to sexually harass her. She also accused Akpabio of asking her to take an oath of secrecy in Abuja.
