Equity Concepts Entertainment boss, a Nigerian US based filmmaker, a publisher, an accomplished property and auto insurance expert, Rowland Okorie has proposed visa application process for Igbos, Hausas and the Yorubas.
In a statement released on Friday, March 24th, 2023 he demanded for answers from the Nigerian government if they want the Igbos living across the nation to be identified either as the Nigerian slaves or Immigrants.
He went further to offer his proposal for the Nigerian government on how to make the visa application process work.
In his statements he said now that it is clear and everyone know the Nigerian government’s intent and plot is to continue to treat all right deserving citizens of a so-called nation as the same rather, they fan the embers of disunity taking our great country backwards instead of continuing to heal after what had happened in the past. Over 3 million dead. What did the people do?, he asked again….
Nigeria is at Stallman at the moment he warned. Slavery is not a form of government in this world but you can associate Immigrants with a foreign nation. The question I keep asking all and sundry remains, what do we all think about Nigeria?, he lamented.
An Igbo man is too good to be a slave to nobody trust me he already knows how to govern. History teaches us that we started this thing called democracy. “My ideas are not for free that is the Igbo man in me he stated, and I want to cut a deal, whenever the Nigerian government is ready, we will present deliverables.”
Rowland Okorie further lashed out at corrupt media establishments, calling them crooked for not telling their people the truth about what Nigeria has become. Nigeria is like a Mold in the house where you cannot breathe fresh air.
As a filmmaker and media person I have written so many short films of Nigeria and it collapsed and I will share it with everyone. I am not tribalistic, but I cannot as well deny my root “Igbo man”. Pressed on his stands on Nigeria’s Unity he said about 65% of my friends are Yorubas and we still do great things together. We are not taking these conspiracy theories these politicians are putting up against us. We believe in a new Nigeria.
These corrupt politicians have done nothing for the Nigerian people. The whole nation still looks dusty and murky. They have conspired against us youths, how we come so low to accept this type of manipulations he asked. He accused the Nigeria government of trying to instill fear in the Igbo man, lower his self-esteem, weakening the people using intimidation and fake military called Unknown gunmen.
Over the years an Igbo man has been oppressed at every slightest thing his name will constantly remain in their mouth as the bad egg. They make us the fall guys for the nation and sacrifice our children’s blood then call for fake peace. Among all the death mortality in Nigeria Igbo man has suffered the most. They treat us like trash to be thrown out.
He went further to call on all Nigerians and supporters of democracy in the world to see what politicians who steal the nation’s money and buy luxury houses all over the world including the United States of America but are killing Igbos just because they are trying to be a Nigerian and take care of their family they tagged him coming to collect our Land. You are stealing a whole nation’s money using it to collect other people’s land in foreign nations.
“This cannot continue. I am calling on all corrupt politicians in Abuja, spread across Nigeria to start buying properties owned by Igbo men and pay them their worth or agreed price so they can start going back home where they come from, because we no longer consider ourselves Nigerians, we are tired,” he exclaimed.
“The Nigerian Judicial system is hijacked by Legal Props like Festus Kayemo, he is a global legal disgrace to the institution that made him.”
Okorie calls Kayemo a legal structural failure. “I used to admire him a lot before he started kissing the rings of corruptness. The latest rants from some irresponsible greedy selfish politicians like disgraced defeated Senator Ken Nnamani of Enugu who does not have his people at heart goes far to show the hatred for Igbos among themselves, which is not peculiar only to Igbos. However, we will solve those issues when we find our legal status in Nigeria,” he stated.
