Former Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Ike Ekweremadu’s wife, Beatrice Ekweremadu, has been released from a UK prison following her detention over allegations related to organ trafficking.

Beatrice and her husband, along with a medical doctor, were accused of conspiring to facilitate the travel of a young Nigerian man to the UK for the purpose of organ harvesting.
