Veteran musician, Eedris Abdulkareem is in pains. The singer is pained by the words of his junior colleague, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy on him.
The Jaga Jaga crooner took to his Instagram page and lamented.
He wrote; “Wishing me or any other person dead is truly saddening and very disappointing.”
“Making fun of my health crisis and blaming people that helped to keep me alive is very shameful. Threatening my life is a different ball game, but for you to play God? Thats the most nauseating foul prank of all times.”
“Now, conscientious Nigerians and the general public are weighing into the matter and you instantly deleted your demonic prayers for me.”
“I’ll reply through the only medium that I have… and that is music; so I will be dropping my heartfet response via a single aptly named “Essay to Burnaboy” in a fortnight.”
“Stay tuned for that because. No man be GOD”
Trouble started after Eedris Abdulkareem scolded Burna Boy for claiming that no one helped him in the Nigeria music industry.
Burna Boy who was not pleased with Abdulkareem’s criticism, took to social media and lambasted him.
He wrote: “Abdul Kareem Abi wetin dem dey call your papa, I no blame you. I blame people wey donate money for your hospital bills.”
“And I wish say you be person wey fit dey enter the kind places wey I dey dey, make we use mistake jam.”
However, Abdulkareem in his response wrote; “Yup, they contributed money for my hospital bills and I am perfectly healthy now, but I don’t think any contribution can save your sperm from reproducing.”
