These are certainly not the best of times for Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo a.k.a D’banj whom the Coalition of Public Interests Lawyers and Advocates (COPA) has ordered for his investigation for allegedly raping Miss Seyitan Babatayo has now landed himself in another trouble.
The singer’s trouble started when he attended a function in Abuja on Saturday, June 27th, 2020 where he also performed thereby violating the Covid-19 guidelines by the Government.
According to the video which has gone viral on the social media, D’banj was surrendered by some ladies as he rendered one of his hit songs.
However, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has now weighed in on the video.
In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, he said; “The command is trying to get the facts about the event. The attention of the Chairman, FCT Covid-19 Enforcement Team and Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma, have been drawn to the footage.”
“The venue and time the video was recorded has not been verified. Members of the public with privileged information should give the Police details of the event.”
“Any violation of the Quarantine act and Covid-19 guidelines would not be tolerated.”
