Ms. Babatayo Seyitan, the lady who took social media by storm alleging that famous singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj raped her two years ago has made some shocking revelations.
It is interesting to know that weeks after she took to her Twitter page to make the allegation, she was arrested and detained in the police cell.
Be that as it may, Seyitan in a statement she issued on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020 disclosed that two weeks after she came out public to tell her story that she was arrested by four armed police officers who disguised to be delivery agent by gaining entrance into her house.
She said that she was taken to IGP IRT office at Shodipo, Ikeja, Lagos where she was detained in a cell like a criminal.
She revealed that while she was in detention she was denied access to her lawyer even when she was not told the reason for her detention. She lamented that she spent almost 48-hours at the police station without being charged for a single crime.
