Nigerian ace musician, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy has taken the new president of Nigeria, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu to the cleaners.
According to the veteran musician who took to his Twitter page to expressed his mind on the President’s remark during his inauguration ceremony on Monday to remove subsidy from fuel, said “Tinubu has break record”.
He wrote; “Tinubu don break record within 24 hours after swearing-in. Fuel scarcity and fuel price have increased after announcing fuel subsidy removal. Day 1 hitting the ground running.”
“The question is, are the BATIS going to buy this fuel in different prices from what We Buy??? We go soon learn.”
Hours later, the singer fondly known as AreaFada, also warned that Tinubu had promised to continue from where his predecessor stopped.
He wrote; “Shey una remember say lord Tinubu promised to continue with Buhari legacy? Even before e reach office today, e don troway subsidy so make nobody enter street to protest. Hummmm. But as far as you have been supporting tinubu your own price will be cheaper.”
