Many men of God would rather prefer to remain silence on some matter in order to save their head than to say something that will attract criticisms from the public.
However, for prominent pastor and General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, it is better to say the truth and be saved than to keep mute.
Bishop Oyedepo, while delivering a sermon recently in his church, said; “I love Jesus and I am telling you by the Holy Ghost, do not be the enemy of your destiny. Act smart and walk in the truth. I love all ministers but I am not a friend to every minister. No I cannot be.”
“I advise my members to be wary of who they associate with as it can make or mar their destiny.”
“People who scorn your God can’t add value to your life. There are people you must delete from your list of contacts. Delete them!”
“There are people that you meet that would end your life and also delete them from your list.”
This is coming at a time where there have been several arguments while some Nigerian top pastors have refused to pay a condolence visit to the family of Late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua a.k.a T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).
Recall that Prophet T.B Joshua died on June 5th, 2021 and was buried on Friday July 9th, 2021, yet none of the Nigerian prominent pastors attended the funeral rites.
