Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has left many people dumbfounded with his shocking revelation.
The singer, in an interview recently confessed that before ‘419’ became popular that he has been scamming banks.
Hear him; “I was scamming banks. Even before una begin hear of 419, I don do small. My papa, when I dey small he damage me with religion and religiousity.”
However, when the interviewer inquired; “You used to scam banks and they paid?”
Charly Boy answered affirmatively; “Yes, of course.”
Area Fada, as Charly Boy is fondly called, made the revelation in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor, Nedu (Chinedu Ani Emmanuel).
