The Coalition of the Arewa Christians Youths Movements of Nigeria ( ACYN), has praised Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara State for taking a public Oath with the Holy Quran exonerating himself from knowing, or assisting the lingering inherited insecurity in the state and Nigeria as a whole.

The coalition Secretary General, Mrs. Rifkatu Mathew Malumfashi made this known on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 in Wusasa, Zaria while briefing the press at the Coalition Quarterly activities.

She said; “Through, as a Christian I know the powers attached to the Holy Bible and the implications to Swear with it. So also I strongly believe that our Muslim brothers and sisters can not take the Holy Quran for granted because of its powers too.”

“I would like to use this opportunity to Call on the Zamfara State Political Gladiators, all the Prominent Sons and daughters from Zamfara, State, including our father the elder statesman and Security Expert in person of General Aliyu Mohammed Gusau (Retired) to Swear with the Holy Quran as Gov. Matawalle did, that they knew nothing about the existing insecurity in Zamfara State and the Northwest in general.”

“Honestly we as the Coalition wondered why that up till now General Gusau has never for once come out as a security expert to condemn or sympathise with what is happening in Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and his birth place Zamfara State.”

The Coalition used the opportunity in a strong term to condemn bandits activities and their financier’s and praised the efforts being made by Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle administration in religiously handling the long existing insecurity in the State and encourage Governor Matawalle to be Strong and continue with the good work that he has been doing.
