Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State on Friday 19th June, 2020 officially defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), following his resignation from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
However, reacting to Obaseki’s defection, the APC, Spokesperson, Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, said;
“So you can’t defect twice. So if he is defecting again, we don’t know whether what he has just done now is news any longer.”
