Less than a week after Nigerian movie industry lost veteran actor, Rick Oganiru, the industry has again lost another member.
Information reaching us right now inside Nollywood has it that actress, Doris Chima is dead.
According to sources, Doris died after battling with cancer of the breast.
Sources squealed to us that the actress was diagnosed with the ailment in 2020 and her breast was cut off as a result.
However, Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Lagos State Chapter, Emeka Rising Ibe, responding to the death of Doris on Monday August 16th, 2021, said;
“She called me last week and pleaded due to ill health not to remove her from the verification exercise I embarked on to ascertain true members of the guild in Lagos.”
“Yesterday morning, I got a call that she was dead. Though I am yet to visit the family, it is a great loss for us. I pray for the repose of her soul.May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
