Less than four days after Nollywood star actor, Alexx Ekubo’s ex-fiancee, Fancy Acholonu publicly apologised to him for the troubles she caused him for their dramatic breakup, the model has now left many people dumbfounded with her shocking revelation.
It all started after Fancy took to her Instagram page to pen down her New Year message.
She wrote; “Happy New Year everyone, 2023 will be my year of strength, being fearless, speaking up for myself & finally no longer anyone’s control. I’m free, the chain is broken. May God bless us all.”
When an Instagram user @oliveuzonna asked her if it was her ex-fiance, Alexx Ekubo that compelled her to apologise publicly, Fancy retorted;
“You are so right! I’ve literarily said nothing about why I even ended it in the first place. People are attacking me nothing even knowing the pain I went through and he is busy asking me to apologize publicly all the time just for his image. What about my image he is now trying to damage. It’s beyond cruel. I’m no longer scared under his control.”
Also, reacting to another IG user, @sandychipear who criticized her, Fancy, said; “I never wanted my private life to be public. Now that it is, I’m trying to manage it the best way I can. I did not ask for any of this, Alex wanted all these public apologies, I’ve been wanting to stay private. I’m now living on my own terms. You don’t know the full story so just be kind.”
For those who don’t know, Fancy had before the New Year taken to Instagram to beg the actor.
She wrote; “Like our shirt says, Nothing makes sense when we’re apart @alexxekubo you still have my heart. I miss you, I love you, and I’m truly sorry for all the hurt & pain you and your family went through with our break up.”
“My actions in how I handled things was out of my character. I should have controlled my emotions and not been so over reactive. I said too much, I did too much. Please forgive me, I’ve learned my lesson on how to handle situations better.”
“I haven’t expressed myself properly. I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and say you, your family, & friends still mean the world to me. Losing you has felt like grief. Love heals #FalexxForever.”
Recall that Fancy got engaged to Alexx Ekubo in May 2021 and she suddenly called off their wedding scheduled to hold in November 2021.
