This is double mourning for the family of late Nollywood actress, Folake Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi as her elder brother, Steve Onishola dies barely 24hours of her demise.
Onishola ‘passed on’ on Thursday, January 7th, 2021 after a brief illness. He died at the age of 71.
For those who don’t know, Steve Onishola before his demise was a Basketball Coach and the Technical Director of Kwara Falcons Basketball Club of Ilorin.
However, expressing his shock and sadness over the death of Onishola, Chairman of Kwara State Basketball Association, Dr. Joseph Adeyemo, said; “We are very sad by this unfortunate incident. In fact, we can’t find the right word to describe this moment.”
“Coach Onishola was the symbol of basketball in Kwara, he was one of the most brilliant coaches of the game in Nigeria. The entire basketball family extends its deepest condolences to the deceased’s family and loved ones.”
