Information at our disposal has it that the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba has finally submitted a disciplinary recommendations on popular Nigerian cop, DCP Abba Kyari’s indictment in the Hushpuppi’s fraud case to the Police Service Commission (PSC).
Recall that the FBI in its investigation indicted Kyari in a $1.1 million internet scam carried out by Abbas Ramon a.k.a Hushpuppi and four others.
However, according to sources, the report by a probe panel constituted to investigate Kyari’s role in the alleged online fraud was submitted to the PSC months after the IGP received it.
A member of the PSC, Braimoh Adogame Austin, said; “The IGP has submitted Abba Kyari’s report to the PSC and deliberations on the matter will commence this week. I can’t tell you when it was submitted but it’s now with the commission.”
