Suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Abba Kyari has been denied bail by Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Recall that Kyari is facing trial by the Federal Government on alleged drug trafficking offences.
Meanwhile, Kyari will remain in prison pending his trial on the charges.
However, speaking on the latest development, Justice Nwite stated that the bail request had been addressed in the earlier application which was denied.
Be that as it may, Justice Nwite subsequently fixed October 19, 20 and 21 for resumption of the trial.
