Honourable Nureni Ayinde Akinsanya, Chairman of the House Committee on Public Account (Local), has congratulated President Bola Tinubu, Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Obasa, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, and constituents during the New Year 2024 celebrations.
Akinsanya, in a New Year message on Monday, stated that President Tinubu is dedicated to the rejuvenated hopes of Nigerians.
He also emphasized the unwavering commitment of the Lagos Assembly Speaker, Obasa, and the state government to implementing their legislative agenda and promoting good governance in the new year.
“In the spirit of the new year, I take this opportunity to congratulate President Bola Tinubu, our esteemed Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and all residents of Mushin Constituency 1. By the grace and help of God, we will all enjoy the dividends of democracy in this new year of 2024.We must continue to coexist peacefully, united in love, as Nigeria belongs to us all.”
Akinsanya, representing Mushin Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, encouraged Nigerians to remain close to God and maintain a prayerful attitude to continue receiving blessings and benefits.
“The people of Mushin Constituency 1, as well as all Nigerians, should remain steadfast in prayer for our country, the President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Lagos State Assembly, and the state government, so that they may achieve the best outcomes for the people’s benefit.”
He believed that with continuous prayers and support, they would be able to bring the dividends of democracy and prosperity directly to the people.
To strengthen relationships with stakeholders, Hon. Nureni Ayinde Akinsanya announced his plans to host a New Year Party on January 2, 2024.
Community Development Associations (CDAs), Local Government Area (LGA) executives, ward chairmen, councilors, supervisors, and all legislative aides would all attend the party.
This event will serve as an opportunity for community members and stakeholders to come together and celebrate the start of the new year 2024.
Hon. Akinsanya will express his gratitude for their unwavering support and commitment in the previous year, as well as outline his plans and vision for the constituency in the upcoming year.
The event will provide a platform for Hon. Akinsanya to engage with constituents, listen to their concerns, and ensure that their voices are heard in the decision-making process.
It will also aim to create a unified front that works towards achieving the common goal of development and prosperity for Mushin.
