Grammy Awards: Burna Boy Opens Up On His Victory

That Afropop singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has won his first Grammy Award is an established fact.

Burna Boy whose album; ‘Twice as Tall’ won the Best Global Music Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held on Sunday night, March 14th, 2021 at Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, said;

“To every African out there no matter who you are no matter what you do just believe in yourself.”

“Always believe you can achieve it no matter where you are from.”

“Look at me now Grammy awards winner. I’m so happy my whole family is here. If I can do it anyone can.”

Besides, in 2019 one of Burna Boy’s albums were nominated at the 2020 Grammy Awards ceremony, but Angélique Kidjo won the award.
