Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has strongly advised Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to abandon their ambitions for the 2027 general elections.
His advice comes in response to circulating rumours suggesting that Obi and Atiku are planning to team up in an attempt to remove President Bola Tinubu in the next election.
In a recent post on his official Facebook page, Igbokwe issued a warning to Obi, Atiku, and others contemplating a presidential bid in 2027.
He wrote; “If anyone is considering running for president in 2027, I suggest they give up that thought until 2031.”
“PBAT is destined to remain in the seat of power till 2031. He needs eight years to set the records straight.”
