Stanbic IBTC Bank has unveiled winners from the quarterly draw of the August Reward4Saving 3.0 promo. Eighty four (84) customers were rewarded by the financial institution on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024 at its head office, Stanbic IBTC Towers, Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event saw seven (7) lucky winners smiled home with N2 million each. Another seven customers returned home with N1 million each while seventy (70) customers were rewarded with N100,000 respectively.
Winners of the N2 million category include Foluke Ibirogba, Mobolaji Olamiriki, Afolabi Saheed. The cheque was presented to them by Mr. Olu Delano, Executive Director, Personal and Pivate Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC.
Interestingly, one of the winners of the N2 million category, Afolabi Saheed was also a winner in the previous edition, the Reward4Saving Season 2.0.
Speaking at the cheque presentation, Afolabi said; “I was shocked when I received the alert on my account. I was called from the bank that I won N2 million, but I didn’t believe it because I thought it was scam.”
Afolabi, however, vowed to bring customers to the bank, describing Stanbic IBTC Bank as the best financial institution.
Layo Ilori-Olaogun, Head, Affluent Clients, Stanbic IBTC Bank, presented the N1 million cheque to the lucky winners – Maurice Nwachukwu, Okoise Joy Perpetual, Olaide Abogail Najeemdeen, Angela Odoni.
Dr. Innocent Enubuje, Olubunmi Cole Patience, Olayiwola Ogunneye, Funmilayo Olamide received cheque of N100,000 respectively which was presented to them by Adebola Foster, Retail Sales Officer, Stanbic IBTC Asset Manager LimitedLimited.
Award winning standup comedian and singer, Kenny Black, did not leave any stone unturned as he dazzled the elated customers with his performance alongside Justman (Hypeman) who Kickstarted the event by welcoming the winners to the venue.
The event officially started with a welcome address by the Executive Director, Personal and Pivate Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC., Mr. Olu Delano, who congratulated the winners of the August quarterly draw Reward4Saving 3.0 promo. He thanked the customers for banking with Stanbic IBTC especially those who have been doing business with the bank for years.
Retail Sales Officer, Stanbic IBTC Asset Manager Limited, Adebola Foster, acknowledged one of the winners who have been banking with Stanbic IBTC bank for 15years. He also appreciated the esteemed customers of the bank.
Foster, highlighted on the benefits of Stanbic IBTC Asset Managers’ mutual fund investment. Foster quoted saying; “just enough is the enemy of your dreams.”
The Head, Affluent Clients, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Layo Ilori-Olaogun, congratulated the winners and thanked the customers for their loyalty and commitment to saving. She emphasised that the Reward4Saving promo reflects the bank’s dedication to promoting a culture of saving and aiding customers in achieving their financial objectives.
Layo, explaining how customers can become winners in the Stanbic IBTC Reward4Saving Promo, she said; “To participate in the promo, new and existing customers can save a minimum of N10,000 in their Stanbic IBTC Bank savings account for at least 30 days”

However, Mobolaji Olamiriki, one of the winners of the N2 million, in a short interview with journalists expressed gratitude to Stanbic IBTC Bank. She said she was not expecting it.
According to her; “I got a call from Stanbic IBTC Bank, initially I though it was a scam and then it turned out to be real. I am so happy, thank you to Stanbic IBTC.”
When she was asked how long she has been banking with Stanbic IBTC Bank, she said she opened her account in December 2023. She pledged her loyalty to Stanbic IBTC, while she revealed her intention to invest the N2 million she won.
