Famous Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has again dragged his colleague, Zlatan Ibile.
According to Portable, he would have been among Davido’s groomsmen if Zlatan had not ruined his relationship with the Afrobeats star.
Portable, disclosed this during an Instagram live session with his fans recently.
He said; “I was invited for Davido’s wedding. If Zlatan Ibile hadn’t ruined my friendship with Davido, I’d have been among the groomsmen.”
It is no longer news that Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido got married to his fiancee, Chioma Rowland on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024.
The wedding attracted dignitaries from all walks of life including governors from different parts of the state. Some of the governors who attended the colourful wedding include Senator Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, who doubled as Davido’s uncle; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Alex Otti of Abia State, Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.
Also in attendance are former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, among other eminent personalities.
The elegant wedding was well attended by Nigerian celebrities, both in the music and movie industries, amongst whom are Paul Okoye, Shina Rambo, Chike, Patoranking, Zlatan Ibile, Ini Edo, Iyabo Ojo, B-Red, Cubana Chief Priest, Ebuka Obi-Ochendu, to mention but a few.
For those who don’t know, Portable had before now, accused Zlatan Ibile of pitting Davido against him.
This was after he (Portable) met Davido in Atlanta, United States of America (USA).
But the duo fell out shortly after, and this came after Portable accused him of giving him “bad advice” which led to Davido unfollowing him on Instagram.
