Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has issued a strong warning to those it may concern.
This is coming after the Ekiti State gubernatorial election on Saturday June 18th, 2022 which was trailed with controversies as they were allegations of vote-buying in the state.
Recall that some of the candidates, for example the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Segun Oni, claimed that some residents were paid in Ado-Ekiti to vote for some political parties.
Another candidate, Kemi Elebute-Halle of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), also claimed that other political parties induced voters with money.
However, taken to his Twitter page, Davido, warned that Osun State residents will lawfully resist any attempt to rob them of their votes.
He wrote; “Osun is not Ekiti as our people will lawfully resist all attempts to rob them as was done in 2018. July 16 we shall rejoice!”

For those who don’t know, Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke a.k.a ‘Dancing Senator‘ will be contesting in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
