Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has joined the Nigerian movie industry.
The singer is set to make his debut not as an actor, but as an executive producer of an upcoming movie titled; “3 Cold Dishes”
The movie, we gathered would be produced through Spaceship Films, a company founded by Burna Boy and his mother, Bose Ogulu.
Sources told us that the movie will be co-produced by Black Mic Mac, Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films and Martian Network.
The movie – “3 Cold Dishes” is a story set across Nigeria, Republic of Benin and Côte d’Ivoire. It is directed by Asurf Oluseyi and written by Tomi Adesina.
The “3 Cold Dishes” boasts of Nollywood A-list actors such as Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, Brutus Richards amongst others. It also features some Ivorian and Senegalese actors.
Speaking on the movie in an interview recently, the director, Asurf Oluseyi said; “This film is a testament to the strength and resilience of its characters, and it took us blood and sweat to get it to this stage.”
