The National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has decorated Aminu Sanusi with his new rank of Superintendent of Police.
SP Sanusi, a dedicated police officer, who has served in various police formations, including the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Lagos is presently serving in the office of the NSA.

Born in 1991 in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State and hailing from Kano Municipal Local Government Area, Sanusi’s journey into law enforcement began in 2016 when he joined the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
Sanusi’s educational accomplishments set him apart. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Buckingham University, United Kingdom.
He further honed his expertise with a Master’s degree in Terrorism, Security, and Policing from the University of Leicester, UK, and an Executive Master’s in Counter-Terrorism Investigation from Al Akhawayn University in Morocco.

He was DCO II at Gwiwa Division, Sokoto State.
Team Lead Investigator in Homicide, Gender, and General Investigation at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Lagos State.
Currently, he is seconded to the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) as an Analyst at the National Counter-Terrorism Centre (NCTC).
Sanusi has consistently pursued professional growth through specialized training, including:
