Nollywood actress Angela Okorie, has lambasted Nigerian music star, Burna Boy over the ongoing Lamborghini saga that has taken the internet by storm.
Angela is upset with Burna Boy for allegedly failing to fulfill his promise to buy a Lamborghini for socialite, Sophia Egbueje, following a reported one-night stand between the two.
In a video posted on her Instagram, Okorie expressed her displeasure towards the singer. She said; “This is the wrongest thing any celebrity will ever do.”
She further added, “You’re supposed to be human. God made you this mega superstar for a reason — to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves and to help people in need. As far as I’m concerned, that girl (Sophia Egbueje) needs help. But you took advantage of her because she told you her price.”
Okorie, however, defended Sophia, stating that those criticizing her for naming her price were being unfair.
She said; “She has named her price. That’s who she is. She’s as big as a Lamborghini. If you can afford that, then you can sleep with her. That’s what she said.”
She also called out Burna Boy for taking advantage of Sophia’s openness, despite being a public figure and an advocate for those in need.
For those who don’t know, the controversy began after an audio recording surfaced online, in which Sophia accused Burna Boy of having a one-night stand with her and failing to keep his promise of buying her a Lamborghini, which set the internet ablaze
