The internet went haywire recently following the shocking death of Nigeria music star, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The singer who was formerly under Naira Marley’s music label, Marlian Records died on Tuesday under controversial circumstances.
The deceased was buried the next day in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
However, information reaching us right now has it that the Police said it would exhume the body of the singer for proper investigation.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this in an interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze recently.
Hundeyin said; “The command will leave no stone unturned in the course of investigating Mohbad’s death.”
“Investigation will commence. And that is what we are going to do. If need be, the body would be exhumed.”
“It’s not too late. The body can be exhumed. An autopsy can be performed. People should bring whatever information they have to the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State.”
“That is because we don’t want to do hierarchy anymore. Take it to Force headquarters, bring it to Lagos State command, it doesn’t matter.”
“We are going to harmonise it within ourselves and ensure that justice is done.”
