Amid the growing hardship in the country, Nigerian ace musician, Charles Oputa, professionally known as Charly Boy, has begged popular Anambra pastor, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje a.k.a Indabosky of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, to use his power to save the country from hunger.
Charly Boy, popularly known as Area Fada made the appeal recently on his X page, formerly Twitter.
He wrote: “Dear Odumeje, We Nigerians have humbly come to you – please can you stop the nation from burning, fire is catching, the economy is plummeting.”
“We ask for your power in this desperate time of need.”
“Abeg no mind Dangote, he get plenty money oo, this hunger no dey reach him side that’s why E no understand say E go humble before the Indabosky #Naijamatter.”
Be that as it may, President Bola Tinubu has rolled out measures to tackle food insecurity in the country.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari disclosed this. He said a 150-Day Duty-Free Import Window for food commodities would be implemented by the Federal Government.
Kyari noted that within the period, government will relax the tax and import duties on Wheat, Maize, Husked Brown Rice, and Cowpeas.
