Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara State has condoled with his Sokoto State counterpart, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal over the demise of his elder brother, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello (Wazirin Tambuwal).
The death of the Octogenarian was announced on Wednesday morning, January 19th, 2022 by the Sokoto State Governor who said the brother died on Tuesday after spending 37 years as the Wazirin Tabuwal, a position he inherited from their biological father.
Governor Bello Muhammad described the death of Alhaji Muhammadu Bello as a great loss to the family, the Tambuwal people, the Sultanate and indeed, the State of Sokoto as a whole.
Governor Matawalle said; “This is indeed, a great loss to the Governor in person, his family, the Sultanate, the State and indeed, the rest of us in our various capacities as his friends, associates, colleagues and by extension the brothers and sisters of the deceased.”
“On behalf of myself, my family, the Government and entire people of Zamfara state, I extend our heartfelt condolence to His Excellency, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal over this great loss’.”
He revealed that the message met him while he was far away on an official assignment, the Governor said that his heart and spirit are right there with his colleague and brother, the Governor of Sokoto state, over this grievous loss.
“While I pray that Allah grant the soul of late Waziri eternal rest, I pray that Allah will give all his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss”, Governor Matawalle further prayed.
