Few years ago when FREDAK INITIATIVES took off as an NGO, the popular saying that “Morning foretells the day came to mind with the various articulate professionals who are part of the the initiative.
The major aim of the NGO is to mitigate against drugs and sexual abuse among teenagers.
Started in Ondo town in Ondo State few years back with the sole responsibility of creating awareness programs and training teenagers in various skills during holidays instead of roaming the street.
Also engages in bringing succor to the lives of the less privileged child by empowering teenagers who are out of school.
Fredak Initiative Mission includes:
- Visiting various secondary schools for Sensitization/awareness program through the help of their volunteers
- Training the trainer program to enhance more hands as their volunteers
- Partnering with NDLEA and other government agencies for effective awareness program
- Partnering with Artisans for skill acquisition program for out of school teenagers
- Establishing them with skills and space to start up their career
- Rural/urban community outreach
- Campaign/ walk against drug and sexual abuse
- The goals and objectives of the NGO is
- Reducing Crime and criminality in the society
- Helping teenagers to become a better and useful youth.
Fredak Initiative is the NGO to partner and support for a better life for the Nigerian teenage child.
