Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State is of the opinion that Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi despite his popularity will not match the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
El-Rufai who described the former Governor of Anambra State as a Nollywood actor, said; “Doing 70 percent in Anambra State does not mean somebody doing 10 percent in Kano is not better than you.”
“Kano is 4 million votes…Yes, Peter Obi will sweep Southern States, he will do well in South-South, where else?”
“He is polling in Christian enclaves in the North, but how many are they?”
“Ethnicity and religious bigotry will not take you anywhere, the election is APC versus PDP because they have the footprint.”
