These, again, are not the best of times for cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has now invited him and popular social media critic, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan over bribery allegations against EFCC officials.
EFCC Spokesman, Dele Oyewale disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024.
Oyewale stated that the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede has constituted a team of investigators to look into the allegations.
He said; “To this end, the Commission hereby invites both Okuneye and Otse (VeryDarkMan) to make themselves available at its Lagos Directorate to assist investigators unearth the alleged bribery.”
For those who don’t know, VeryDarkMan had on Tuesday released a voice recording allegedly by Bobrisky claiming that he bribed EFCC officials with N15 million.
In the recording, Bobrisky claimed that the N15 million bribe was meant for the EFCC officials to drop the money laundering charge against him.
Also, in the recording Bobrisky claimed that he never spent a day in the prison after he was convicted and sentenced to 6months imprisonment.
In the recording, Bobrisky equally said his godfather arranged a lodge instead of a jail for him where he serve his term.
