That famous cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was arrested on Sunday October 20th, 2024 at the Seme border is an established fact.
The cross-dresser was arrested by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) while attempting to escape to Benin Republic. The Immigration Service transferred him to the Force Criminal Investigation Department annex in Alagbon, Lagos State on Monday where he is currently detained.
FCID Spokesperson in Lagos, Mayegun Aminat, confirmed this. She said; “He is detained at FCID Alagbon. He is with us and we are to get a remand to keep him in custody today.”
It is interesting to know that this is coming at a time when he (Bobrisky) is being investigated by the Federal House of Representatives over his leaked audio conversation involving some Nigerians, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigeria Correctional Services, NCoS.
Recall that in the audio leaked by popular social media critic, VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky allegedly claimed to have bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to drop his money laundering charges.
In the audio, he also claimed that he spent his six-month jail term in a lodge rather than in Kirikiri prison because of the influence of his godfather.
