Famous cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has been re-arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The controversial cross-dresser was picked up on Thursday, October 31st 2024 by the anti-graft agency at Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.
According to sources, Bobrisky was apprehended as he was about to board a flight to London.
However, confirming his arrest, Bobrisky took to his Instagram stories to cry out to Nigerians for help.
He wrote; “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”
His arrest is coming days after he was arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border while allegedly attempting to escape the country.
The cross-dresser have not been finding it easy since social media critic, VeryDarkMan, leaked his alleged voice call recording claiming that he bribed the officials of the EFCC with N15 million to drop the money laundering charge against him.
Besides, according to the leaked voice recording, Bobrisky, also allegedly claimed that he never spent a day in the prison, courtesy to his godfather after he was convicted and sentenced to 6months imprisonment.
It is interesting to know that Bobrisky has been under investigation since the audio recording surfaced.
