Nollywood star actress, Omoni Oboli is very angry at the moment and has taken to social media to release her anger.
According to the actress, a lady named Adetutu sometimes in August 2020 sent her a direct message (DM) on Instagram which reads;
“Please ma I really would appreciate if you can assist me financially my husband lost his job during this Covid-19 and we have a son who is seriously sick, please I need your help. Any amount would be appreciated.”
The screen star stated that the same lady in January 2022 sent her another message which also reads;
“Happy Sunday Omoni, well I thought I should let you know that you taught me not to depend on anyone, I waited for your alert all day thinking you will remember me. Well God smiled on our face, we have good jobs now thanks for ignoring.”
Omoni Oboli, who claimed that she did not see Adetutu’s initial message because her DM is full, revealed that she came across the message on her DM few days ago.
However, Omoni Oboli, took to her Instagram page and shared the screenshot of the message the lady sent to her and lambasted her, noting that nobody is entitled to her money except her kids.
She wrote; “I came across this in my dm a few days ago and it seriously dampened my spirit! If you followed me during the lockdown, you will testify to the fact that I did giveaways everyday! Millions was given away on this platform. As a matter of fact, I decided I was never giveaways anymore after the period for so many reasons.”
“It’s the entitlement that kills me! Like seriously! Do you know how hard I work! I’m up when your ass is in bed! WORKING!”
“I don’t sleep as many hours as most people because my bills won’t pay themselves and my goals and dreams are bigger than most people!”
“So I grind! Constantly working on several businesses including my day job which is Film! Right now, I’m in pre-production for 2 jobs! About to shoot one in a couple of weeks while running my other businesses and being a full time wife and mother with no help!”
“Went to bed at 4:30am cos I was doing bulk cooking for my family! So nobody is entitled to my money except my kids and last I checked, I have just 3!!!”
“PS: Adetutu, I’m glad my ignoring you (even though I never even saw your initial message. You should see how full my dm is) taught you a very vital lesson in life.”
