Davido Raises Dust: “Most Rich Men’s Children Don’t Have Money”

Omo Baba Olowo (O.B.O) as Davido is fondly called has raised a dust. The famous singer shocked many when he said that most children born into wealthy homes don’t have money.

Davido, son of billionaire businessman and founder/president of Adeleke University, Adedeji Adeleke made the controversial statement during an interview with Plustv.

Davido also added that he lost his mother, Veronica Adeleke when he was 11years old.

Hear him; “I lost my mother, Veronica Adeleke, when I was barely 11years and was very broke. I was very broke, it wasn’t funny. My hard work brought me this far and not because of my father’s influence.”

“When my mother died, I knew what I needed to do. The normal cycle for rich kids was to go to school, graduate and work for their parents, but I have to break that and hustle for my own money. It was not easy and it demanded serious hard work from me.”

“Do you know that most rich pikins no get money? Because they don’t feel they need to work or aspire to be something. I fought to do this music, I come from a family that you go to school, graduate and work for pop but I had to fight.”
