Former GMD of NNPC, Mr. Andrew Yakubu is in hot soup as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives stormed his house recently and recovered about N4,643,200,000 (Four Billion, Six Hundred and Forty Three Million and Two Hundred Thousand Naira). The EFCC agents were said to have recovered the money from his safe. He was arraigned in June 2016 on allegations of money laundering and was sacked by the then Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
