November 30th, 2024 was an opportunity for Abia State University (Absu) alumni resident in Lagos known as Absu Laglagends to reconnect, share old memories and banters; network, unwind and give back to the society.
Laglagends did exactly these at their end of the year party held at Dover Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
The party which featured some side attractions including dancing competition and games was followed by a visit to an Orphanage home, Bales of Mercy Orphanage, Bariga Lagos with some items – a bag of rice, drinks, staple foods among others.
Laglegend President, Mrs Hilda Nkor explained that it was in the culture of the association to continuously give back to the society.
On his part, Chairman of the 2024 Laglegend end of the year party organizing committee, Chief Ingram Osigwe, commended members for gracing the event and conforming to the laid rules of the association.
