Nigeria music star, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido has cried out to Nigerians.
The Afrobeats star alleged that there are threats to cancel his concert in Nigeria because of his comment about Nigeria’s economy.
He made the claim via his X page, formerly Twitter.
He wrote; “Dem say dem go cancel my show cus of my interview … loooool I don’t have to perform in Nigeria.”
Trouble started for the musician fondly known as Omo Baba Olowo (O.B.O) after he urged Nigerian-American citizens to not contemplate relocating to Nigeria because the country’s economy is in “shambles.” He gave the advice during a podcast interview in America.
The singer has, thus, been heavily criticized by some prominent Nigerians since he made the remark.
