The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Atiku Abubakar’s former spokesperson, Segun Sowunmi, has accused President Bola Tinubu of causing the problem the party (PDP) is going through in recent time.
The PDP chieftain frowned at the president for appointing one of its party leaders, Nyesom Wike as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), without consulting with the elders of PDP.
Sowunmi, stated this recently when he featured on Channels TV’s Politics Today.
He said; “President Tinubu is the problem of the PDP; he has no business taking Wike from our party and appointing him as Minister without talking to us.”
“When Obasanjo wanted to form a government of national unity, he wrote to the elders of the party but what did Tinubu do? He took one of us and put him in a strategic position and suddenly the whole thing is complicated.”
“If he wants everything to be okay, sack Wike and return him back to PDP and see if the party will not have stamina and move fast.”
“My position is very clear; I’m not speaking Greek; I explained it and justified it.”
