In a heartwarming display of corporate social responsibility, Aniami Club has facilitated allocation of three distribution Transformer Substations to Onicha-Ugbo community.
With this gesture, low current and epileptic power supplies being experienced in Onicha-Ugbo Community would soon become a thing of the past.
Onicha-Ugbo Community has long struggled with inadequate electricity supply, with frequent power outages affecting daily life, businesses, and economic growth. Residents have had to rely on alternative sources of energy, incurring additional expenses.
Engr. Udeh who made the disclosure at Onicha-Ugbo Progressive Union meeting, urged residents to be patient as the electricity issues in the community would soon become a thing of the past. He further stressed that Aniami Club will continue to assist in improving electricity supply in Onicha Ugbo.
Community members expressed gratitude and excitement during the disclosure of the news at OPU Abuja Central branch meeting.
One of the new Transformers will be installed at Uso Issele Uku in Ishiekpe village, another will be installed around the Lagos-Asaba Expressway while the last one would be installed at Ogbekenu village.
This generous donation is expected to increase electricity supply by far measure, reducing power outages and enhancing economic activities.
Aniami Club has also pledged to support maintenance and ensure the transformers’ longevity.
The installation of the Transformers are ongoing.
Aniami Club Onicha-Ugbo was incorporated in Nigeria on November 30, 1994.
The Club has impacted the community and beyond with regular scholarships for indigent students of the town.
The club had also carried out several community development projects that has elevated the living standards of poor persons in the area.
