Nigerian celebrity bar man, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest has been called out by popular food critic, Opeyemi Famakin for allegedly threatening his life.
Famakin, who called out the billionaire businessman on social media, lamented that he received the alleged threat from Cubana Chief Priest following his review online after visiting his restaurant in Imo State on September 11, 2024.
Famakin, had in an Instagram post, praised the restaurant’s ambiance and aesthetics, however, criticized the food. He frowned that the pastries should not have been pre-made and microwaved.
The criticism was well received and appreciated by Cubana Chief Priest, who took to the comment section and wrote; “Thank you for visiting, Foodie. Wishing you all the best!”
However, event took a different turn on Thursday, September 12, 2024 when Famakin, raised an alarm, accusing Cubana Chief Priest of threatening him over his review.
Famakin, in his claim, posted screenshots of his conversation with Cubana Chief Priest and in the screenshot, Cubana Chief Priest allegedly wrote:
“Karma is real, you must pay for whatever you sow in life. I don’t fight lowlifes, I leave them to karma. The business you did your wicked review for is owned by a 6-year-old.”
Famakin, in his response, wrote; “I know a threat when I see one. I guess it’s time to leave Imo State ASAP. If anything happens to me while I am here, well, you know who to hold. I love how he was polite in the comment section for the world to see, but it was a different tone in my DMs.”
