Friends of Rivers State top politicians, Governor Nyesom Wike and Senator Magnus Abe have tried several times to resolve the rift between them but all efforts proved abortive. Those in the know said that the bitter fight between the politicians started during the re-run election in Rivers State when the Senator accused the governor of plotting to kill him before the election since then both men have not been on speaking terms.
