Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has gone on his bended knees to beg his senior colleague, Kanayo O. Kanayo, for criticising him publicly.
Maduagwu, on Monday December 18th, 2023, took to his Instagram page to post a video of himself kneeling down to apologise to the legendary actor.
He also wrote; “This is divine FAVOUR, my Daddy @kanayo.o.kanayo has finally FORGIVEN me for criticizing him and gave me Two Million Naira for Christmas, OMG, this is too much, I’ve been Crying all day, tears of JOY, he PRAYED for me and then surprisingly gave me 2 Million Naira.”
“Sir, you are the most Generous in Nollywood, you are my Destiny helper, Abeg, make you Na help me Thank this Great Legend.”
Recall that Uche Maduagwu, had before now, challenged Kanayo O. Kanayo to tell Nigerians how much money he contributed to their colleague’s health, John Okafor a.k.a Mr Ibu.
This came after Kanayo lambasted him for dragging Nollywood A-list actors for abandoning Mr Ibu and other ailing actors.
But, taken to his Instagram page, Maduagwu said; “Uncle Kanayo name any Nollywood legend going through sickness in the past that you have given money to?”
“You mentioned my name in your video because you know me and uncle Reno always speak the truth, did you people help Aguba?”
“Is it not a big shame sey na OPM pastor help him? Mr Ibu has been going through a lot more than 5years ago, did anyone of you help?”
“We don’t help each other in Nollywood because of competition, so sad.”
“Dear Uncle Kanayo, if you don’t like me because I wear BRA, say it, stop using Mr IBU matter to criticize me in your video. We all know Nollywood is the ONLY movie industry in the world where Legendary Actors are Abandoned if Dem get problem, so why are we making it look like what I’m saying is a surprise?”
“Truth is, if Mr IBU had gotten all the Financial Help he needed from his RICH colleagues, who often show off their Mansions and Expensive Cars on social media, will he come to social media to BEG?”
