Report reaching us right now has it that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State is dead.
According to sources, he died on Wednesday, December 26th, 2023 in Lagos after a prolonged illness.
The source said; “Akeredolu is dead; he died in Lagos.”
“They were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos last week.”
It is interesting to know that before his demise, he handed over power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, while he announced that he would be embarking on another medical leave.
For those who don’t know, Akeredolu returned to Nigeria in September 2023 following a three-month medical leave in Germany.
The governor died at the age of 67.
