Access Bank Executive Director, Mrs. Angela Ebagua-Omokore is in hot soup. Insiders squealed that the top banker’s international passport has been seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). They added that the EFCC is investigating the husband, Mr. Jide Omokore and the wife over alleged fraudulent activities involving his oil company; Atlantic Energy Limited. Those in the know said the thinking of the anti-corruption agency is that Angela being an experienced banker may have assisted the husband in one way or the other in his business. We gathered that husband and wife have been asked not to leave the country until after the investigation. Dazzling Angela is an alumnus of University of Benin and Harvard Business School.
