In what seems like a convergence of similar ideas, the CEO of Equity Concepts Entertainments, Rowland Okorie, met with the Executives of Africa’s biggest club, The Peoples Club of Nigeria International (PCNI) Arlington Branch, Texas.

The meeting was an impromptu one due to sudden notification but was honoured by Rowland Okorie after information reached him that the club was hosting its major annual meeting in the great city of Las Vegas, USA.

After listening to Rowland Okorie’s narrative on the agenda and plans of Project NWAFOR Igbo, the Chairman of the club, Hon Chief Anthony Ejike Nwedo (Ononenyi na Nsugbe, Ononenyi na Umuneke Udi)  stressed the need for Igbo land to attract foreign investors.

He made bold to say that the club would  partner with project NWAFOR Igbo to help further market the project via its network of high profile individuals.

“We will use our power to garner investors, we must make igbo land look like Las Vegas,” Nwedo declared.

Also, the PRO  of the Peoples Club of Nigeria International (PCNI),  Hon. Chief Eddie Uzoigwe (Azua Okwe), said; “This year’s annual event is organised with an effort to look into what makes an Igbo man proud. Project NWAFOR Igbo is a powerful initiative that will bring everyone to one spot and on the same table to discuss matters of mutual benefit and communal growth.”

The National Patron, Hon. High Chief, Sir Eddie Osuagwu (Osinaigwe Obowo 1, Oduigbo USA) who is the former Chairman of the club stressed the need to be part of the process and called on the global unity of Igbos, “we must speak in one voice” he added.
Other members of the club, Amann Okonkwo (The Ugwumba of Nwewi), Jude Ugbomoh The Rock of Agbor, a real estate giant were also present and made very valuable contributions.

Also present and very vocal was Hon. Ozo Ethelbert Odo, Special Branch Officer (Anya Afuche) who started the conversation that sparked up the meeting on a social media group where he posted his location. This was only a 2 minutes ride from Okorie’s  location at that moment and as he was invited  to come for the meeting, Okorie had to hit the road.

A Staunch member of the club,  Albert Lekwuwa  popularly called Big Fish noted the absence of  his strong ally, The First Vice Chairman, Hon. Chief Ifeanyi Onyia (Onwa Gburu Gburu) who was on an unavoidable trip to Nigeria and also Hon. Attorney Lui Akwuroha regretted his absence as well.

The meeting climaxed  with dramatic performances from the group’s dutchess of All Motown known for singing Motown songs with a splash of DooWop! and it was the best ending of the night with too much to go with. The Nigerian powerful women and their hubbies called it a night out with my best friend.
