These are not the best of times for a Nigerian lady and her lover (boyfriend) as they are now at war over her male best friend.
Trouble started after the lady refused to quit visiting her male friend despite her boyfriend’s warnings.

Guy: “I thought I told you to stop going to Ayo’s place and even stop talking to him.”
Lady: “You don’t expect me to stop talking to my friends because I’m in a relationship. Ayo is even my best friend for that matter. He has always been there for me.”
Guy: “Oyin what are you saying… You are in a relationship now. Things have changed. I don’t want you to be friends with any guy, I won’t also be friends with any girl.”
Lady: “That’s not possible. I can’t cut any of my friends off all because I am in a relationship. Me having a male best friend doesn’t make you any less of a man. So stop over-thinking things and bringing all these pointless rules.”
