Barely 24hours after a North-Western Nigeria High Court sitting in Kano sentenced to death by hanging Abdu Malik Tanko, a teacher who abducted and subsequently murdered his pupil, Hanifa Abdu Malik last December, another Muslim cleric is mentioned in a case of sodomy involving Almajiri in Sokoto, North-West Nigeria.
The revelation was made by a 12 year old Almajiri is currently receiving treatment in the Usumanu Danfodio University Teaching Hospital Sokoto. The teenager revealed that the cleric one Malam Assada has been sodomizing him leading to the injury that affected his intestine. The boy said he has not been eating for quite sometime now since he started stooling blood.
Investigation revealed that doctors are currently working to save the life of the teenager whom they said has to undergo a surgical operation in india which will cost nothing less than N24 million Naira.
Further investigation revealed that the parents of the boy whose name is withheld has been given 3 bags of rice 2 bags of millet and the sum of N25,000 to cool their temper with a promise to settle all the victim medical bills.
However, all efforts to speak to Malam Assada proved abortive as his phones were ringing without response.
