‘Pakurumo’ Saga: Samklef Gives Banky W 6-Days Ultimatum To Pay Royalties

The war between music producer, Samuel Oguachuba a.k.a Samklef and musician cum politician, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W over Wizkid’s Pakurumo song has taken another dimension as the music producer has now given the singer six days ultimatum to do the needful.

Samklef revealed that Banky W asked him to drag Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid over his royalties on the hit song, Pakurumo which he produced.

He, however, disclosed that after he had consulted his lawyers that he has been adviced to drag Banky W instead.

He made the revelation on his Twitter page on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022.

He wrote; “U all remembered Banky told me to drag @wizkidayo based on my publishing and royalties for the past 11 years? After consulting with my team of Lawyers, have been told to drag Banky not wizkidayo cause the album was released under EME.”

“So I will give him 6 days to provide me both his lawyers and wizkidayo lawyers emails. Samklef open court house. If he sold the album out. I would like to know b4 next week. Don’t play with me.”

“The album was released under EME. So na @bankywellington go need drag @wizkidayo as I wan drag am more so!”

“And na u give @sonymusic @sonymusicafrica Let’s fix this in peace. Him say make Pour my anger to u.”

“Dear @wizkidayo remember we where brothers b4 anything @bankywellington say u Comot my name from pakurumo publishing and also know about all my 11 years royalties.”
